This week our Head of Sustainability, Isabelle Smith, joined the panel on Retrofitting and Building Sustainable Housing for a Decarbonised Future at Reset Connect as part of London Climate Action Week.
Alongside Rachael Owens from National Retrofit Hub, Simon Bones from Genous and Andrew Spencer from Equans UK & Ireland, Isabelle discussed the Sustainable Homes Pillar of SOHO’s sustainability strategy, and how we are working to decarbonise our portfolio while delivering more energy-efficient, comfortable homes for residents.
She highlighted three of its core components: our greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets, EPC Upgrade Programme and our approach to climate risk analysis across the portfolio.
